I'll not be posting for a little while

A week from next Tuesday, if all goes to plan, I will be receiving a new, bright, shiny new left hip...well, OK, it won't be shiny...not that you could tell, anyway...but it will be new!

Anyway, I'm expecting that it will be the best part of a month before I am back to working on my blog.

In the meantime, I have *finally* begun the actually carving a replica of a 1861 Remington Revolver (I wrote about that at least a year ago;-( ).  I now have the main frame and handle just about done.  I turned the cylinder the night before last and hope finish detailing it tonight.  Then, I'm afraid that the entire project will have to be put on the back burner for about a month.

In the meantime, let me know what sorts of things you might like to hear about.   And, all you guys from the UK who have been using my love spoon patterns, how about sending me some pictures?  I'd love to see you work and see how my designs work on the eastern shores of the Atlantic:-)

'Til next time...Keep makin' Chips!
