17 days after my hip surgery and all systems are go!

I am now the proud owner of a new hip and finally things seem to be getting back too normal, i.e. carving.

I have been working on the 1861 Remington Revolver and have completed most of the pieces.  I will soon enter the scary part of the job: Painting it to look like a real gun!  Yikes!

I apologize for the contrast and lack of detail on the photos.  I was in a hurry and that was the best I could do.  But here they are:
Right Hand Side
Left Hand Side
Left Hand Side with the Loading Lever Extended
Exploded View

And yes, the cylinder rotates. I elected to not make either the trigger or hammer operational.  Hey, Guys, this is just basswood:-)

'Til next time...Keep makin' chips!
